How to care for your dry suit :

Dry suits provide excellent protection for fast sailing in winter or mid-season. They are lightweight and do not take up much space, allowing you to get into the water in the toughest conditions without hindering your movements. However, these exceptional properties can only be maintained if you take good care of your dry suit. The first rule is to rinse your equipment and dry suit thoroughly after each use in order to eliminate all deposits of salts and impurities which could damage the breathability properties. Next, the most fragile parts of the wetsuit must be well protected to guarantee the perfect watertightness of the whole: the latex booties, the neoprene sleeves and collar and the watertight zip. It is especially at the end of the session when you have finished sailing that the wetsuits take the most damage; take your time, the more you spare your sleeves, the longer they will last. Then in case of a problem you can change the sleeves and collars yourself to extend the life of your dry suit.
