NV-Charts
NV-Charts is a German publisher that has designed and developed a concept of chart packs that combine the traditional paper form with the modernity of electronics. The concept is to offer for a navigation area (for example " from Lorient to Noirmoutier " or " from Toulon to Menton ") in the same pack, paper charts at different scales (from the map of the area covered to detailed port charts) and the same charts in electronic format that can be used with the NVapp application, i.e. the NV-Charts navigation software, the standard version of which (sufficient for pleasure boating) is free of charge and can be used on any support (Windows, Android, MacOS or Iphone).
As trainers and practitioners of maritime navigation, we at Picksea were immediately seduced by the NV-Charts packs and the pragmatic approach of their designers. The main advantages of these products are
